The Sims FreePlay
The Sims FreePlay is a life simulation mobile game based on The Sims 3 developed by Electronic Arts and Firemonkeys Studios. It was released in 2011 for mobile devices. The game was praised as 'more than just a social app, but a beautiful reimagining of The Sims 3' and has more than 3 million players worldwide.
I worked on and off the project for a number of years and in that time, worked on almost every aspect of the UI, creating wireframe flows, prototyping, building UI layouts, animations, user testing, creating key-art and iconography.

Live Events & seasonal quests
Below is a sample of 2D art, prize thumbnails, event icons and theming that I created during the development of various live events and seasonal quests.

AR Feature
In partnership with Apple to promote its ARkit, we created a feature that would allow players to use build mode and design their house or collaborate with friends in an AR space. I collaborated with Jonathan Lay on this feature to concept, build final layouts and create the key-art and iconography for the feature.

Daily check-in rewards
I was the sole UI/ UX Designer on a daily check-in rewards feature that aimed to reward players with increasing prizes for returning to the game on a daily basis. I adapted the existing mailbox in the game to include a calendar of rewards with a prize track to help players keep track of what their daily count is. I also built a more simplified and generic rewards popup screen that could be reused for future features.
